FUHSA Releases 2025 Inter/Intra-University Transfer Application Guidelines; The Senate of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare (FUHSA), during its 32nd meeting held on Wednesday, 3rd September 2025, approved and released the official modalities for intra-university (change of course) and inter-university transfers.
This decision provides a clear framework for students who wish to change their course within the institution or transfer from other universities into FUHSA.
Application Process
- Interested applicants are to visit the official portal: https://applicant.safapply.com/fuhsa.
- On the portal, candidates should complete the application form for either change of course or inter-university transfer.
- The completed form must be submitted along with all relevant supporting documents.
General Requirements
- O’ Level: Applicants must possess a minimum of five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Availability of Space: Admission is subject to vacancies in the requested department.
- Academic Transcript: A certified academic transcript must be attached to every application.
- CGPA Requirements:
- MBBS and BDS: Minimum CGPA of 4.01 and above.
- Nursing Sciences and other courses: Minimum CGPA of 3.50.
Clearance & Approvals
Applicants must:
- Obtain clearance from their current Department, Faculty, and University.
- Secure acceptance from the new Department, Faculty, and University authorities at FUHSA.
Prescribed Non-Refundable Fees
- Change of course form – ₦50,000
- Acceptance fee (change of course within FUHSA) – ₦250,000
- Transfer from public universities in Nigeria – ₦500,000
- Transfer from private universities in Nigeria – ₦2,500,000
- Transfer from foreign universities – ₦3,000,000
Additional Conditions
- Applicants must have completed all pre-requisite courses required by the new department (if applicable).
- All transfers must be regularized with JAMB, and candidates are required to complete the indemnity form as part of the process.
- Students should note that only one transfer is allowed throughout their academic journey at FUHSA.
