FUD Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session; The Federal University Dutse (FUD) has invited suitably qualified UTME and Direct Entry candidates to participate in its online Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The screening exercise is compulsory for all candidates seeking undergraduate admission into the university.

Screening Schedule

The online screening exercise will commence on Tuesday, 7 July 2026 and close on Monday, 10 August 2026.

Candidates are advised to complete the registration process before the closing date, as late applications may not be considered.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must satisfy the following conditions to participate in the screening exercise:

  • UTME candidates must have selected Federal University Dutse as their first-choice institution.
  • Candidates must have obtained the approved UTME cut-off mark for their chosen programme.
  • Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum of Lower Credit at the National Diploma (ND) level, or at least 8 points in NCE, IJMB or equivalent qualifications.
  • Candidates must have at least five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • The required O’Level credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
  • Participation in the online screening exercise is compulsory for all candidates seeking admission for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Candidates are advised to confirm that their UTME score meets the minimum requirement for their preferred programme before proceeding with registration.

Screening Fee

The online screening fee is ₦3,000 only.

This amount excludes any applicable bank or payment platform charges.

How to Apply

Candidates should complete their registration through the FUD Post UTME portal by following these steps:

  1. Visit the FUD Post UTME portal.
  2. Log in using your UTME or Direct Entry registration number.
  3. Use your state of origin as the default password.
  4. Update your biodata, including your date of birth, email address, phone number, state and local government area.
  5. Generate an invoice and a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.
  6. Pay the ₦3,000 screening fee through any commercial bank, including FUD Microfinance Bank, or via an approved online payment platform.
  7. Return to the portal and complete the online screening form.
  8. Upload genuine and authentic copies of all required documents.
  9. Carefully review all information before submission.
  10. Submit the completed application.
  11. Print the online screening acknowledgement slip for future reference.

Candidates are advised to ensure that all information supplied during registration is accurate and verifiable.

Required Documents

Applicants must upload genuine and authentic copies of the following documents:

  • O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent) obtained in not more than two sittings.
  • A’Level, IJMB, NCE or ND results, where applicable.
  • JAMB result slip.
  • Recent passport photograph.

Direct Entry candidates must also upload their higher qualification results where applicable.

Documents to Print After Registration

After completing the registration process, candidates should print and keep the following documents:

  • Remita payment receipt.
  • Online screening acknowledgement slip.
  • JAMB UTME notification of result or registration slip.

Candidates are advised to keep both printed and electronic copies of these documents, as they may be required during the admission process.

Upload O’Level Results on JAMB CAPS

All candidates must upload their O’Level results to the JAMB portal.

This applies to candidates using WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent qualifications. The O’Level details uploaded on JAMB must correspond with the information provided during the FUD screening registration.

Application Deadline

The online screening portal will close on Monday, 10 August 2026.

Candidates should ensure they complete all registration requirements before the deadline.

Notice on New Programmes

Federal University Dutse has announced that it is currently processing approval for new academic programmes.

The programmes are undergoing final approval before being listed on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). Once the approval process is completed, details of the new programmes, admission requirements and application procedures will be published on the university’s official website and its official FUD Newsletter social media platforms.
