FPTB Admission 2025/2026: New ND and HND Courses Released. The Federal Polytechnic Bauchi (FPTB) has commenced admissions for the 2025/2026 academic session, with applications now open for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes. This year’s intake features a lineup of newly introduced courses approved across the Schools of Agriculture, Science, Management, Environment, and Media Studies.

Application Procedure
Interested candidates are to apply online through the official Federal Polytechnic Bauchi admission portal: portal.fptb.edu.ng.
Steps include:
- Select “Online Admission” on the portal.
- Fill in personal details to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
- Make the payment (online or at any bank).
- Return to the portal to complete and submit the application using the email/phone number used during registration.
The application fee is ₦6,500, non-refundable. The institution notes that this applies to most applicants, excluding ND candidates, whose application process follows JAMB guidelines.
Important Notes for Applicants
• Only candidates who selected FPTB as First Choice in JAMB will be considered.
• Candidates who did not choose FPTB initially must complete a Change of Institution via JAMB before applying.
• ND applicants must accept and print their JAMB admission letter within four weeks of admission to avoid losing their offer.
• Applicants are strongly advised to read instructions carefully and review all data before final submission to avoid avoidable errors.
