Salary: ₦300,000A reputable church organization in Ago-Okota, Lagos, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Accountant & Internal Auditor to oversee its financial operations, enforce compliance standards, and strengthen internal control systems.
This role requires a professional with strong leadership qualities, sound judgment, and a keen eye for detail to ensure financial integrity and transparency within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise all accounting operations and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
Maintain accurate financial records and prepare timely financial statements and management reports.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and organizational policies.
Conduct periodic internal audits, identify process gaps, and recommend system improvements.
Monitor budget performance and support leadership with strategic financial insights.Requirements:
B.Sc./HND in Accounting (Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent will be an added advantage).3–5 years of proven experience in accounting, auditing, or financial management.
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
