Job Summary:
A reputable real estate firm in Alimosho, Lagos, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join its growing team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of solid experience in accounting, auditing, and financial reporting, with a strong grasp of accounting principles and software tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, update, and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Conduct audits, reviews, and tax computations for both internal and client purposes.
Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
Support the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process.
Liaise professionally with clients, offering sound financial guidance when needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:

B.Sc./HND in Accounting or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience (experience in a chartered accounting firm is an added advantage).
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
ICAN/ACCA certification or currently in the final stages of qualification will be an advantage.

Additional Notes:

Applicants must reside within Alimosho Local Government Area.
Must be highly proficient in Excel and related accounting tools.
