UNICEF Nigeria is seeking a passionate and dynamic Supply & Logistics Associate to support supply chain operations, emergency preparedness, and program delivery. The role will directly contribute to achieving results for children in humanitarian and development contexts.Key Duties & Accountabilities:
Supply Chain Service Delivery & Planning: Support Country Programme Action Planning, forecasting, monitoring, and evaluation.
Procurement & Contracting: Contribute to supply strategies, market research, vendor management, and contract preparation.
In-country Logistics: Provide guidance on customs clearance, warehousing, transport, and distribution.
Warehousing & Inventory Management: Oversee UNICEF warehouses, manage inventory, prepare reports, and ensure compliance.
Alternative Delivery Mechanisms: Collaborate with implementing partners, UN agencies, and government to strengthen supply chain processes.
Minimum Requirements:Completion of secondary education (technical/university courses in supply chain, business administration, or law preferred)
Minimum of 6 years’ relevant administrative/supply chain experience

This consultancy will strengthen UNICEF’s capacity to protect and respond to children affected by armed conflict and armed violence in Nigeria. The consultant will support contingency planning, child protection responses, and emergency preparedness while serving as Secretariat for the Group of Friends on Children and Armed Conflict (GOF-CAAC).Scope of Work:
Child Rights Monitoring & Reporting: Document, analyze, and respond to violations against children in conflict and non-conflict settings
Coordination: Serve as Secretariat for GOF-CAAC; act as Emergency Focal Point for UNICEF’s Child Protection Section in Abuja
Capacity Building: Deliver emergency response training and technical guidance for UNICEF staff and partners
Emergency Preparedness: Develop/update contingency plans, early warning systems, and sectoral response mechanismsQualifications & Experience:

The consultant will provide technical leadership, evidence synthesis, and strategic planning support to ensure the programme is results-driven and globally aligned.Key Deliverables:
Lead design of the 2028–2032 Country Programme (aligning with UNSDCF, NDP, UNICEF Strategic Plan)
Integrate evidence, lessons learned, and foresight analysis into programme design
Facilitate strategic planning workshops (Theory of Change, Results Framework, CPD Validation)
Draft the Theory of Change, Results Framework, and full CPD document for submission to UNICEF HQ and Executive Board
Provide technical assistance in monitoring, evaluation, and stakeholder consultations
Qualifications & Experience:Advanced degree in Planning, Public Policy, International Development, or Social Sciences
