The foolproof hack to grow as a creator: The Writepreneur

At the start of this month, I challenged myself to write an article or newsletter a day. I started the first few days great, but soon, creating content every day became a chore — I wasn’t enjoying it anymore (and I reckon the quality suffered.)

I don’t know how other creators churn out daily posts without burning out. For me, it wasn’t sustainable.

Then I decided to create content when I really had something to say. I knew my growth would be painfully slow, but at least I’d be pushing out valuable content.

Then I saw this Reddit post (which also inspired this article).

What the algorithm really wants
And it made me realize that if I waited to be inspired to push out content, I’d never find success as a creator. Why? The algorithm rewards frequency — creators who feed it.

I mean, it is the same for every social media platform out there.

Put up more content, and get more eyeballs, and I don’t even think the quality matters much to the algorithm.

Yet, here’s where quality matters: your potential followers.

I am saying, quantity drives impressions and views, and quality keeps them as supporters/followers/subscribers.

The creator’s dilemma
Here’s the problem: as a solopreneur, like most content creators, you cannot manage pushing out high-quality content daily.

And if you only focus on publishing daily content, you often sacrifice quality, and vice versa, you risk being invisible.

So, what do you do?
