Destiny Osasenaga, a 400-level Computer Engineering student at the University of Benin, was killed by suspected cultists in Benin, Edo State.
Reports state that the culprits invaded Destiny’s residence in the Uwelu area of Benin, searching for his elder brother, who they accused of offending a member of their gang. In the absence of his brother, Destiny was abducted in the presence of his father and other family members.
The gunmen then took Destiny in a Mercedez Benz GLK to a bush path along the Benin-Akure Road, near Oluku community. There, they beat him to death and left his lifeless body at a refuse site by the roadside.

He also disclosed that other members of the gang were still at large, but the police were working diligently to arrest them.
