Gigabyte Computer SolutionsModeratorSpotify is finally giving users a closer look at their music habits — without having to wait all year for Wrapped. Until now, fans who wanted detailed insights into their listening patterns had to rely on third-party platforms like Last.fm or hold out for the company’s annual Spotify Wrapped release in December.
That’s changing with a new feature called “Listening Stats,” which provides weekly breakdowns of your listening activity.

The new stats page highlights your top artists and songs for the week and makes it easy to share your results directly to Instagram, WhatsApp, or even with friends inside Spotify via its recently introduced in-app messaging feature. Spotify says the weekly recaps will also spotlight special milestones — such as a new discovery, fan moment, or achievement tied to your listening behavior.
Users will also find an option to generate playlists based on songs they already enjoy and recommendations tailored to their current listening patterns.
To check your stats, simply tap your profile image, then open the “Listening Stats” tab. From there, you can browse your weekly trends and share them with friends or social media followers.
The feature is rolling out globally to both free and premium users across more than 60 countries. Despite the new update, Spotify confirmed it will continue to release its much-loved Wrapped at the end of each year — a tradition that remains one of the platform’s biggest social media moments.
While the addition of weekly insights offers listeners a more regular peek into their music habits, it may also take away some of the surprise that comes with discovering unexpected favorites during Wrapped season.
