Reflecting God’s nature in a corrupt world is no small task. Every day, we stand before a mirror, not just in our bedrooms, but in our hearts. Who do we see? Do we reflect the image of Christ, or has the world subtly reshaped our identity?

“Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.” – Acts 17:30

A Reflection in the Mirror
Sarah, a young believer working in a corporate environment, faced this challenge. Her colleagues thrived on office gossip, unethical shortcuts, and self-promotion. At first, she told herself she wouldn’t compromise. But as time passed, the pressure mounted. One day, she laughed at an inappropriate joke to avoid being labeled “too spiritual.” Another time, she exaggerated her achievements in a report to stay ahead. Slowly, she realized she was becoming a reflection of the culture around her rather than a reflection of Christ.

1. Be Unapologetically Set Apart
God doesn’t call us to fit in; He calls us to stand out. Holiness is not about legalism but about alignment with His will. When we truly partake in God’s divine nature, our desires and actions change.

• Stop trying to blend in. The world will never approve of a life that convicts it (John 15:18-19).
• Make decisions that reflect your faith, even when it’s inconvenient.
• Guard your mind, your speech, and your relationships. What you allow in will shape what flows out.

Sarah decided she would no longer laugh at ungodly jokes or exaggerate her work achievements. It wasn’t easy, but each small decision reflected God’s nature.
