Notice from UMYU to admitted students regarding the upload of O-level results
The following instructions are for all applicants (from the year 2021 UTME or Direct Entry) who have been offered admission to study at Umaru Musa Yar’adua University:
1. Ensure that they upload their O-Level (or A-Level, for Direct Entry candidates) results to the JAMB portal. Any JAMB office or authorized CBT center can be used to complete this.
2. Take up the offer of admission made via the JAMB portal. This can be done at any JAMB office or approved CBT center, as well as through the candidate’s personal JAMB portal (https://jamb.gov.ng/EfacilityLogin).
3. Accept the university’s offer via the institution’s website, http://www.umyu.edu.ng.
4. Ensure that they switch their preferred course to the one the university is offering if they were offered courses other than the ones they had applied for. Any JAMB office or authorized CBT center can be used to complete this. The steps 1-3 above must also be followed by this group of candidates.
The admission window for UTME and direct entry candidates for the class of 2021 may close at any time, so it is important for all successful candidates to make sure they abide by the above advice.
Katsina State indigenes who scored 200 marks and above from the year 2021 UTME and who wish to study Medicine and Surgery are also invited to forward their JAMB UTME results (with contact phone number clearly written on the slip) to the office of the Registrar not later than 21st September 2022.
Such candidates should note that the only accepted UTME subject combination is English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
