1. Gas Generator Operator
Job Description:Ensure availability of power at the site.
Perform daily maintenance of the generator set.
Record utility/parameter readings.
Conduct daily fuel haulage to monitor quantity remaining.
Gauge generator oil and coolant daily.Qualifications & Requirements:
OND/HND in Electrical or related field.
Certification in relevant disciplines (SSCE/Trade Test).
Strong experience in electrical/mechanical repairs.
General knowledge of electrical jobs.
Skills: Knowledge of generator systems (diesel, gas, hybrid), technical troubleshooting, mechanical skills, safety awareness, accurate record-keeping, ability to work under pressure.2–4. Gas Generator / Mechanical Engineer / Mechanic
Job Description:Knowledge of steel fabricating materials used for gen-sets (base tank, base frame, crossbars, etc.).
Determine sizes of raw materials for each capacity (nuts, bolts, washers, etc.).
Conduct machine balancing and operate cranes to lift/carry heavy equipment.
Ensure gen-sets are balanced and properly handed over without damage.
Determine oil and coolant quantities for each series.
Report any abnormal spare parts or raw materials.
Use and adjust tools properly (crane, trolley, torque range, veneer caliber, air rachet, etc.).
Stay up-to-date with problem-solving techniques for issues like smoke, air in the system, leakage, abnormal sounds, and vibration.
Read and understand gen-set manuals, promptly reporting unclear points.
Adhere to additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
Ensure proper tool storage and machine shutdown at the end of the day.Qualifications & Requirements:
OND/HND/B. Engineering in a related field.
Vast knowledge in Electrical/Mechanical/Engineering fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar industry.
Good oral and written communication skills.
