Sahara Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join its finance team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent reconciliation skills, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately record and reconcile incoming payments

• Conduct analysis and interpretation of financial transactions

• Manage accounts receivable processes and follow up on outstanding balances

• Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws and statutory deductions

• Prepare reports, support audits, and assist with month-end closing

• Maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients

• Identify, investigate, and resolve account discrepancies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field

• 1–2 years post-NYSC experience in a similar role

• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and Nigerian tax regulations

• Strong proficiency in account reconciliation and financial reporting

• Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)

• Must have commenced ICAN with at least Intermediate level passed

• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently

• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
