A new leak has revealed what appear to be dummy units of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and one of them is turning heads for all the right (and wrong) reasons — a bright orange finish that looks very familiar.
The image, shared by Redditor Direct-Till-2680, shows three S26 Ultra dummy units in silver, gold, and orange. While the silver and gold models look standard, the vibrant orange one immediately draws comparison to Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro in Cosmic Orange — and the internet has thoughts.
“That color has to be a joke,” one user wrote.
Another added, “Every big phone company is trying to be like Apple. Originality is dead.”
And yet, I’m here to say the opposite: I love it. If Samsung really is adding a bold orange S26 Ultra to the lineup, I’m absolutely on board.
Phones need more bright options
Honestly, phone color options have gotten… boring.
Everything these days is silver, gold, black, or some muted “space gray” shade that looks the same no matter the brand. Remember the iPhone 5C? Those colorful plastic designs in blue, yellow, and green weren’t just fun — they stood out.There’s something about bright colors that makes a phone feel personal. It’s a reflection of taste, confidence, and even mood. The iPhone 17 Pro’s Cosmic Orange is a great step in that direction, and if Samsung follows suit, I’d consider it a win for everyone who’s tired of blending in.
Plus, let’s be real — bright phones are way easier to find.
