Well, well, well. After a season that had us all questioning our life choices, Manchester United finally managed to get a win. The 3–1 victory over Hong Kong might not be the Champions League final, but it sure felt like it.
Chido Obi, the 17-year-old sensation, bagged a brace, and Ayden Heaven added a third. The real question, though, is: did we win because of our talent or because Hong Kong was just happy to see us leave after that ASEAN All-Stars debacle?
Rúben Amorim made a full squad change at halftime, and suddenly, we looked like a team that remembered how to score. Tom Heaton’s early blunder was a reminder that even legends have off days. But hey, at least he didn’t let in a goal every time he touched the ball
So, here’s to the end of the season. We might not have silverware, but we have a win to end on. Let’s hope this isn’t the highlight of our post-season tour.
