He Brought Entire Nigerian Families” – John Legend Praises Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola’s Wedding

American R&B star John Roger Stephens, better known as John Legend, has shared his glowing experience from the wedding of Nigerian singer Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola.

The 46-year-old Grammy-winning singer, who performed at the couple’s private ceremony in Iceland, described the celebration as memorable and unique during a recent livestream with popular streamer Kai Cenat.

John Legend serenaded the couple and their distinguished guests—including Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote—with his timeless love ballad “All of Me.” Reflecting on the day, Legend said:

“I have sung ‘All of Me’ at a few weddings, but I just sang it at the wedding of Nigerian artist Mr Eazi. He got married a few weeks ago in Iceland. He brought whole Nigerian families and crew to Iceland and got married there.”

The lavish wedding, which captured international attention, was extensively covered by Vogue Magazine.

      A Wedding Across Three Countries
Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola’s wedding was not confined to one location. According to Vogue, the celebrations spanned Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland:

The first ceremony was held on May 9, 2025, in Monaco, a date chosen to honor Mr Eazi’s late mother, whose birthday fell on that day. The Otedola family also maintains a residence in the principality.

The second celebration took place two months later in Dubai.
The final ceremony happened in Iceland, where Legend performed.

For the official Monaco ceremony at Mairie de Monaco in Monte Carlo, Temi stunned in a custom Wiederhoeft suit paired with Briony Raymond jewelry, while Mr Eazi wore Louis Vuitton.

Following Vogue’s coverage, Temi updated her Instagram bio from Otedola to Ajibade and captioned her celebratory post:

“Mr and Mrs Ajibade. Now on Vogue Magazine.”

The couple’s union has since been hailed as one of the most iconic celebrity weddings of 2025, blending Nigerian tradition with global elegance.
