I Didn’t Pay One Naira! — Odumodublvck on Featuring Davido & Wizkid

Nigerian rap sensation Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has sent fans buzzing after revealing that his collaborations with Davido and Wizkid on his new album Industry Machine came completely free of charge.

During a live session on the Afrobeats To The World forum on X (formerly Twitter), Odumodublvck disclosed that both Afrobeats superstars appeared on his project purely out of respect for his craft — not for money.

“Davido and Wizkid are real men. They’re both on my album by the special grace of God and because of the respect they have for my hustle. I didn’t pay them a dime,” he said.

The rapper further shared that Wizkid’s contribution was more than just a verse — it was an entire song the Grammy-winning artist gifted him.

“The song Wizkid featured on is his song. He gave me the song. I didn’t record and send it to him; he gave me! Wizkid’s verse on my album is the greatest verse you’ve ever heard,” Odumodu declared.

The Tracks That Broke the Internet
Davido appears on Track 5 of Industry Machine, titled “Grooving”, alongside Seun Kuti, while Wizkid is featured on Track 6, “Big Time.” Both songs have become instant fan favorites, symbolizing unity between two of Afrobeats’ biggest icons — who have rarely appeared on the same project in recent years.

A Testament to Respect and Friendship
Odumodublvck’s rapport with both Davido and Wizkid reflects his growing influence in the industry. He has often spoken about his friendship with Davido, mentioning him in his viral freestyle “2:02 AM in London” and collaborating with him on “Funds” from Davido’s 2025 album 5ive.

By securing features from both Wizkid and Davido — two stars known for their long-standing rivalry — Odumodublvck joins a very exclusive list. The last artist to achieve a similar feat was Boj on his 2022 project Gbagada Express.

The revelation has reignited debates among fans, with each camp proudly promoting their favorite star’s track. But one thing is clear — Odumodublvck’s Industry Machine is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about Afrobeats albums of the year.
