Get ready for a fresh twist in your Google Play journey. Starting October 1, 2025, we’re rolling out an update to how Play Games profiles work, and yours is included! This upgrade will bring your gaming stats, milestones from Play Store games, and exciting new social features right to the Google Play platform, making it a one-stop hub for all your gaming action.
What’s Changing?
Your revamped profile will showcase your achievements and progress, seamlessly integrated into Google Play for easier access. To make these features pop, we’ll collect data on your game usage—like which titles you’ve played and when—helping us enhance your gaming experience. Developers might also share insights about your in-game activity (e.g., achievements and progress) with us, all governed by their privacy policies, to fine-tune their games for you.Your current profile visibility settings will carry over as the default for this update. So, if your profile is already public, the new version will follow suit—unless you tweak it. Want to adjust? Check out your settings [here} to customize who sees what.
No Action Needed—But Options Abound
This update happens automatically, so you can sit back and enjoy the ride.
