Scripture: “The Lord is my banner.” — Exodus 17:15
In life, we often face battles—some visible, others unseen. Challenges arise in our finances, health, relationships, or spiritual journey. But as believers, we are not alone in the fight. Just as Moses lifted his hands on the mountain while Israel fought the Amalekites (Exodus 17:8-16), our victory is secured not by human strength but by God’s power.
Jehovah-Nissi, the Lord our Banner, reminds us that He goes before us, leading the charge. When we place our trust in Him, we fight under His covering, assured of triumph. Like a soldier marching behind a standard, we move forward in faith, knowing that the battle is the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15).
Reflection: What battle are you facing today? Stand firm in faith, lift up your hands in prayer, and trust in God’s banner over you.
Prayer: Lord, I take refuge under Your banner. Strengthen my faith, remind me that the battle belongs to You, and lead me to victory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
