Chairman of the APC, Adamu, Resigns.
Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman, and Iyiola Omisore, the APC national secretary, have been expelled.
On Sunday, the two received a letter ordering them to leave the ruling party.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was dissatisfied with their leadership style, reportedly ordered the pair to resign, according to sources close to the Presidency.
Adamu, a former governor of Nasarawa State, has become involved in a number of scandals ever since the APC won the presidential election on February 25, 2023.
