Prophet Adeniyi Adebayo, also known as Prophet Ogunse, along with his son, Promise Ogunse, have been arrested in connection with the murder of a recent female graduate from the Kwara State College of Health Technology in Offa.
SaharaReporters has learned that Promise Ogunse, the son of the founder of The Light of God Miracle Embassy Church Worldwide, is the primary suspect in the alleged murder.
According to reports, Promise, the first son of Pastor Ogunse, invited the victim from Offa to a hotel in Ilorin last week.
A source who spoke to SaharaReporters revealed that the deceased had just graduated from the Kwara State College of Health Technology.
The source stated, “Yes, the lady was invited by the pastor’s son to a hotel in Ilorin. Her body was later discovered at a dumpsite. It appears the hotel staff disposed of her body after the perpetrators fled.”
The police have apprehended both the suspect and his father, who is a pastor. They are currently being held at the police headquarters in Ilorin.
When contacted for a statement, the spokesperson for the Kwara State Police Command, DSP Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, indicated that she would provide a response later, saying, “I will get back to you.” However, as of the time this report was filed, no further update had been provided.
