      Answer to (a)

In reference to the poem , yeats feels that his creative energy has been drained because of the excessive stress he has to undergo as a manager of a theatre business in Ireland.

Yeats complains that managing the theatre has been really challenging for him and it’s sucking away the joy and passion he has for the job which is not making him creative enough.

Yeats compared his current creativity to that of a horse that is being whipped and it’s dragging heavy stones making it difficult for him to move showcasing how difficult it is for him to be creative.

He also emphasized on how he has to deal with several incompetent people in d theatre ; all this factors led to the reason Yeats feels creative energy is being drained.

      Answer to (b)

Yes, I think those struggles Yeats mentioned are still relevant for modern artist because what makes an artist is the ability to be creative, but if the job that’s been done is extremely is extremely challenging, it can be really draining which could lead to lack of creativity, also having to manage other people that are uncooperative can be really overwhelming and could result to excessive stress and might affect the creativity level of the artist .

      Answer to B

I’m feel those struggles still exist in the modern days, because in industry nowadays I feel your talent is not just enough you need to be more creative, when you’re now the favorite fans will keep demanding for more,at times it takes month to create a craft that they will enjoy for some minutes, hours, or days but they will always want more of it,which is one of the the reason why I feel is still exist in modern days,

The second reason is in the modern state to get good quality craft is more expensive,at times it take to be valiant, delightful to get a good quality product, some try to steal your craft and some even try to spoil you and  its really frustrating because you meet different people everyday and they all have different aims and objections towards you which majority of them want you fall..

Regarding to the poem yeasts feel his energy has been drain due to burden he has been carrying and how frustrated he was with running theatre despite it a good and challenging job but the task in managing theatre exhaust him, he went on to criticize how difficult it is to set up a production and dealing with incompetent people he expresses how difficult it is to keep things running smoothly and the frustration makes him hate the job that once give him joy and in his final line he said I swear before the down comes round again I’ll find the stable and pull out the bolt this mean he wishes to break away from the responsibilities that are holding him back and regain his artistic freedom he hopes to do that before the next day which shows how desperate he was to leave the work
