“a fool and his money are soon parted”? How does it relate to nigeria

My brother, the saying “a fool and his money are soon parted” means say if somebody no get sense or dey act foolishly, e go quickly lose him money—either through bad decisions, scams, or just spending am anyhow without thinking. Na old English proverb wey dey warn people to be wise with their cash.

Now, relating am to Nigeria? Chai, e dey hit us for body o! See, we get plenty examples—some people go fall for those 419 scams, like those “I be prince, send me money” stories, and next thing, their account don dry.

Or even some big men wey go invest all their money for one shaky business without proper plan, only to see am collapse. Even for politics, some folks go dash their money to politicians wey go promise heaven and earth during campaign, only to chop am and disappear.

Na why we dey always advise ourselves say, “Shine your eye!”—make you no let foolishness separate you from your hard-earned cash. You sabi wetin I mean?
