Entry Requirements for Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes
- Candidates must possess a National Diploma (ND) or National Innovative Diploma (NID) in their chosen programme with at least a Lower Credit classification from a recognized/accredited Polytechnic, Monotechnic, or Innovation Enterprise Institution.
- Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE, GCE O’level, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two (2) sittings.
- National Technical Certificate (NTC) or National Business Certificate (NBC) with credit level passes in a trade plus four (4) relevant academic subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Candidates must have one year of post-ND industrial training experience.
- Candidates with a PASS grade in ND/NID are eligible if they have at least two (2) years of post-industrial training experience.
All candidates who did not obtain their ND from the Federal Polytechnic Offa must forward a copy of their National Diploma Transcript to the Office of the Registrar within eight weeks from the date of this advertisement.
Entry Requirements for National Diploma (ND) Part-Time Programmes
- Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE, GCE O’ level, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two (2) sittings.
- National Technical Certificate (NTC) or National Business Certificate (NBC) with credit level passes in a trade plus four (4) relevant academic subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
Method of Application for ND Part-Time Programmes
- Visit any JAMB Office to complete the “APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION OF PART-TIME CANDIDATES” procedure for the Federal Polytechnic Offa.
- Pay the application fee of Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N3,500) to JAMB to obtain the JAMB Registration Number.
- Proceed to Federal Polytechnic Offa Online Portal to pay a processing fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000) and complete the application form. Payment can be made with a REMITA-compatible ATM card.
Candidates who do not comply with the above application method will not be considered for admission, as their data will not be on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), where admissions are processed.
Candidates must upload scanned copies of their certificates, results, and other required documents online. All candidates must have a personal active email address.
Online Screening Procedure
- All candidates must write their names in full with their surname first as on their certificates and NIN.
- Candidates must upload their results, certificates, and credentials on the Polytechnic portal Federal Polytechnic Offa Portal.
- Candidates must fill out the security form on the Polytechnic portal, print the screening slip and security form, and submit them personally to the Polytechnic Security Office.
Failure to comply with this procedure will lead to disqualification, and any false claims will result in the forfeiture of admission at any time discovered.
