Entry Requirements
National Diploma (ND) Part-Time
The entry requirements for National Diploma (ND) Part-Time Programmes are as follows:
- Five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO or NABTEB (O’level Examinations).
- Candidates are required to obtain JAMB Part-Time Registration Number from JAMB Office or JAMB Accredited (CBT) Centres.
For specific entry requirements for each course, candidates should visit the Polytechnic website www.fpno.edu.ng. Candidates with Nov/Dec O’level results of the year of admission for ND Part-Time programmes are not qualified to apply.
It is essential to note that any false data entry during the online registration will lead to the disqualification of the candidate at any time such is discovered.
Application Process
Follow these steps to apply for the Federal Polytechnic Nekede ND Part-Time Admission for the 2023/2024 academic year:
- Visit the school’s website www.fpno.edu.ng and click on the “Application form” link on the home page under the student’s menu. Choose ND to proceed.
- Fill in your Biodata in the form and generate an invoice. Print or copy the invoice number for reference.
- Proceed to Federal Polytechnic Nekede Microfinance Bank or any bank of your choice and make a payment of N12,000 (Ten Thousand Naira) only on the Remita platform using the RRR number on the invoice you generated. You can also choose to make your payment using your VERVE, VISA, or MASTER CARD. If you choose the card payment option, you will be asked to fill the card details for the payment to be processed immediately.
- Return to the school’s website www.fpno.edu.ng, click on “application form,” and complete your application process. Submit your data as requested and print out your acknowledgment slip. If you process your payment using your card, you will return to the portal immediately to print your receipt and acknowledgment slip.
- All application procedures MUST be completed on or before 12 Midnight of 31st August 2023.
Applicants can start and complete this process from any location in the country. It is, therefore, advisable to minimize trips to Owerri for the purpose of completing the form.
