Federal Poly Ilaro Open Distance & Flexible E-Learning ND Admission Requirements:
Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) credits (including English Language and Mathematics) and three others obtained in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings.
Candidates awaiting the results of just concluded examinations can apply, but they must submit their results before the registration deadline for new students of the 2023/2024 session.
All ND PART-TIME AND ODFEL APPLICANTS must also visit the JAMB Office to apply and fill out the JAMB Part Time / Distance Learning Application Form.

Federal Poly Ilaro Open Distance & Flexible E-Learning HND Admission Requirements:
Candidates must have a National Diploma not below Lower Credit (with CGPA not less than 2.50) and meet the basic requirements for the National Diploma Programme in their respective disciplines. They should also possess the specific SSC requirements (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/GCE O’level) for the programme they are applying for.
A good performance in the screening exercise conducted by the Polytechnic and a minimum of one calendar year of post-National Diploma relevant industrial experience are also required.
The candidate’s National Diploma academic transcript should be sent by the ND awarding institution to The Registrar, The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro under confidential cover. Admitted candidates will not be registered until the ND academic transcript is received.
How to Apply for Federal Poly Ilaro Open Distance & Flexible E-Learning Admission Form:
Candidates seeking admission into The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro are required to complete the institution’s Application Form available online at http://federalpolyilaro.edu.ng/ starting from Monday, 25th July 2023.
The deadline for completing the application form is 26th August 2023. To obtain the admission form, visit the institution’s website at https://applications.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng/.
Generate the invoice, make payment at the designated banks, and return to the portal to fill out the application form following the on-screen instructions.
Important Notes:
- Candidates must upload clear and readable copies of their credentials. Poorly uploaded credentials will result in the forfeiture of admission.
- Each candidate must provide a new result checker scratch card for each O/level result used in the application. The scratch cards should be submitted to the desk officer at the admissions office during the entrance examination. Candidates with invalid pins will be disqualified.
- Valid personal phone numbers and emails must be provided on the application forms. Notification of admission will be via the institution’s website.
