Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Post-UTME & Admission Form 2025/2026: ND & HND; The Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Available Programmes

National Diploma (ND) – 2 Years
Admission is open to eligible candidates who scored 100 and above in the 2025 UTME and chose Federal Polytechnic Bauchi as their First Choice.
Eligibility Criteria for ND Programmes
- Candidates must have selected Federal Polytechnic Bauchi as their First Choice Institution during the 2025 UTME.
- Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
- Candidates must have uploaded their O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS.
- Only candidates who accept and print their JAMB admission offer within 4 weeks of notification will retain their admission status.
Application Fee
- ND applicants: ₦2,000.00
- All other applicants (e.g. HND): ₦6,500.00 (non-refundable)
Application Procedure
- Visit the application portal: https://portal.fptb.edu.ng
- Click on “ONLINE ADMISSION”
- Enter your details and generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) slip
- Make the payment at any commercial bank or via Remita using the generated RRR.
- Return to the portal and continue your application using your application number and the phone number used during registration.
- Upload required credentials and complete your application.
- Submit your application online.
Note: Applicants must follow the instructions carefully as provided on the Polytechnic’s portal.
Important Notes

- Only candidates who select Federal Polytechnic Bauchi as their First Choice on the JAMB portal are eligible for admission. If you chose another institution, visit the nearest JAMB office or CBT center to do a Change of Institution.
- ND candidates are strongly advised to accept and print their JAMB admission letter within 4 weeks once offered admission to avoid forfeiture.

All online applications must be completed and submitted no later than six (6) weeks from the date of this publication.
