Fed Poly of Oil & Gas Bonny gets NBTE accreditation for five new programmes
This information is conveyed through a letter dated Thursday, August 10th, 2023, signed by the Director of Programmes, Ach. Ngbede Ogoh, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of NBTE, Prof. Idris Muhammad.
The approved programs are as follows:
- National Diploma in Petroleum Marketing and Business Studies
- Computer Science
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology
- Industrial Safety and Environmental Engineering Technology
- Statistics
The letter also specifies that the admission of students into these accredited programs must adhere to the indicated class stream. It highlights that these accredited programs are subject to another quality assurance visitation by the end of September 2028.
Mr. Benjamin Job Anyebe, the Acting Rector of the Polytechnic, expressed his satisfaction with the accreditation, deeming it a significant accomplishment. He mentioned that additional programs are already in the pipeline for accreditation.
He further emphasized the Polytechnic’s commitment to delivering high-quality academic programs that equip graduates to compete effectively globally.
