Fed Poly Ado-Ekiti HND Admission Form 2025/2026; The management of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. The HND programmes are available in Morning (Regular), Evening, and Part-Time (Weekend) formats.

Available HND Programmes

The programmes lead to the award of Higher National Diploma in various disciplines. A few of the available departments include:

  • Physics with Electronics
  • (Others available on the institution’s official portal)

1. Entry Requirements

To be eligible for admission, applicants must possess the following:

General Requirements:

  • National Diploma (ND) certificate in relevant discipline with at least Lower Credit.
  • A minimum of five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings in SSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB.

NABTEB Guidelines:

  • Applicants with NABTEB (NTC) applying to the School of Engineering (SOE) must also possess a core subject from the Trade Related Area (TRA) (not Bookkeeping, Commerce, Principles of Accounts, etc.).
  • NABTEB (NBC) is accepted only for Business-related courses.
  • NABTEB General Education Certificate (NGC) is not accepted in SOE but may be accepted in other schools as specified on the Polytechnic website.
  • NABTEB-National Technical Certificate (NTC) holders may apply to the School of Environmental Studies.

Industrial Training (IT) Experience:

  • Minimum of 9 months post-ND industrial training for candidates with Lower Credit and above.
  • Minimum of 18 months post-ND industrial training for candidates with Pass grade.

2. Application Method

The application process will be done online, and it involves the following steps:

Step 1 – Generate Invoice:

  • Visit: http://www.students.fedpolyado.edu.ng
  • Click on “Application”, then on “Generate Invoice”.
  • Under Programme, select HND FULL TIME or HND PART-TIME/EVENING.
  • Under Course, choose your preferred department.
  • Enter required personal details and generate your payment invoice.

Step 2 – Payment:

  • Proceed to any commercial bank with your invoice and pay ₦15,500 only on the Remita platform.
  • Alternatively, pay online using debit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Verve).

Step 3 – Complete Application:

  • Return to the Polytechnic portal.
  • Fill in your application form using the RRR number on your payment invoice.
  • Upload necessary documents, including:
    • ND Statement of Result
    • Industrial Training (IT) Letter
  • Review your form carefully before final submission.
  • Print your Acknowledgement Slip and Application Form.

3. Aptitude Test (CBT)

All HND applicants (Morning, Evening, and Part-Time) will write a Computer-Based Test (CBT), which includes:

  • English Language
  • General Knowledge
  • Core area of ND specialization

4. Important Dates

  • Application Start Date: Friday, 1st August, 2025
  • Application Closing Date: Sunday, 31st August, 2025
  • CBT Screening Date: To be announced via the Polytechnic website.

5. Transcript Submission (For Candidates from Other Institutions)

Candidates who completed their ND in other institutions must ensure that their academic transcripts are sent directly by their institutions to:

Deadline for transcript submission: 31st August, 2025

Note: Transcripts submitted by hand will not be accepted.


6. Additional Notes

  • Applications with incomplete or false information will be disqualified.
  • ND Result Statement must show effective date no later than February 2024 for candidates applying with Lower Credit and above.
  • Beware of scammers – the Polytechnic does not employ third-party agents for admission processing.
