FAO-Hungarian Government Scholarship 2024/2025; FAO-Hungarian Government Scholarship 2024/2025: The FAO-Hungary scholarship program facilitates master’s level studies in English at select agricultural universities in Hungary for a chosen group of young professionals.

Participating Universities: European universities involved in the program include the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Buda Campus, Budapest.

- Master in Environmental Engineering – Sopron University, Sopron
- Master in Crop Production Engineering – Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Szent István Campus, Gödöllő
- Master in Horticultural Engineering – Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Buda Campus, Budapest

Eligibility: Candidates will be selected based on citizenship, residency, academic achievements, English language proficiency, motivation, good health, and age (candidates under 30 are preferred).
Selection Procedure: The process involves two phases:
- FAO pre-screens candidates and submits applications to the Ministry of Agriculture of Hungary.
- Selected candidates may undergo a written or oral English examination. Participating universities will conduct further selection processes.
Number of Awardees: Courses will be offered if the minimum number of students is reached.
Value of FAO-Hungarian Government Scholarship: The scholarship covers student costs only and includes application and tuition fees, dormitory accommodation, subsistence costs, and health insurance.

Interested applicants should submit a dossier by EMAIL (to REU-Scholarship@fao.org), including a completed application form, recent curriculum vitae, high school/college diploma and transcript/report of study, proficiency in English certificate, relevant passport pages, letter of recommendation, statement of motivation, health certificate, and certificate of good conduct. All documents must be in English.
