Scholarship: Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP) 2025. Global Affairs Canada is now accepting applications for the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP) for the 2025-2026 academic year.
This scholarship opportunity allows students from Latin America and the Caribbean to pursue short-term studies or research at Canadian post-secondary institutions through institutional partnerships.
Scholarship Highlights:
- Program Duration: 4 to 6 months
- Coverage: Airfare, select living expenses, health insurance, visa or study/work permit fees, and other eligible expenses
- Application Deadline: March 18, 2025
Canadian institutions must apply online on behalf of eligible students. Interested students should contact their home institution’s international office for details on partnerships with Canadian institutions.
