EKSU Post-UTME/DE Screening for 2024/2025 Academic Session: This is to inform all UTME and DIRECT ENTRY (DE) candidates who have applied for admission into Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU) for the 2024/2025 academic session, that the Post-UTME screening exercise will commence from Wednesday, 24 July, 2024. Please note that there will be no examination.

Eligibility and Registration Details
Candidates:
- UTME candidates who did not initially choose EKSU but scored 140 and above in the 2024 UTME can change their first choice institution to EKSU on the JAMB CAPS.
- The university will consider successful students from its Pre-Degree and JUBEB Programmes, as per Senate approval.
- Candidates awaiting their SSSC examination results should not apply for the PUTME screening exercise. They should apply as soon as their results are released.
Minimum UTME Scores:
- Mass Communication: 180
- Medical Laboratory Science: 220
- Nursing: 220
- Law: 240
- Medicine (MBBS): 250
Candidates with lower scores in these courses may apply for other programs and effect the change on JAMB CAPS to be considered for admission. EKSU accepts JUPEB (minimum of 7 points) but not LIMB for admission.
Application Instructions
- Visit the Application Portal:
- Go to EKSU Portal, click on “ADMISSION” to access the online application portal.
- Sign Up:
- Provide the required details to create an account. Ensure your email address and phone number are active. A verification email will be sent to you.
- Log In:
- Use your registered email address or JAMB registration number as the username and enter your password to log in.
- Select Application Type:
- Choose the 2024/2025 PUTME application. For those who chose EKSU, their information will populate automatically. Others must fill in all details, including their JAMB Registration Number.
- Payment:
- Click on “PAY NOW” to make payment for the PUTME screening form.
- Complete Application:
- Attach a 1×1 coloured passport photograph with a red background in JPEG format.
- Upload your ‘O’ Level result(s) from not more than two sittings (WAEC SSCE, NECO, NABTEB).
- Preview, confirm, submit, and print the completed screening form.
Eligibility
- Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in relevant subjects at not more than two (2) sittings.
- Direct Entry candidates must have a minimum of Upper Credit from Polytechnics for Engineering programs and Lower Credit for other programs.
- Additional requirements for Direct Entry include a minimum of Second Class Lower Division for MBBS and Law, and registered status with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria for Nursing Science.
- Direct Entry candidates interested in changing their first choice institution to EKSU may also be considered.
- Direct Entry candidates should send their transcripts to admissions.registration@eksu.edu.ng by 30th September, 2024, or their applications will not be considered.
UTME Candidates with NECO Results:
- Submit your “Result Verification Tokens” at the Admissions Office for verification. Candidates without tokens should visit the NECO website here and input admissions.verification@eksu.edu.ng at the provided interface.
Any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission. Providing false information will lead to automatic disqualification.
