
UNIOSUN Post UTME and Direct Entry Form 2026/2027; Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has announced the commencement of its Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates seeking undergraduate admission into the university. The screening exercise is open to candidates who selected UNIOSUN as their first-choice institution and those willing to change their first-choice university to UNIOSUN through JAMB.
Candidates are advised to carefully review the admission requirements, eligibility conditions, registration procedures, fees, and important deadlines before submitting their applications.
UNIOSUN Post UTME Eligibility Requirements
Candidates who scored a minimum of 160 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to apply for the UNIOSUN Post UTME screening exercise.
Applicants must have selected Osun State University as their first-choice institution or be willing to change their institution to UNIOSUN before admission consideration.
UNIOSUN Cut-Off Mark for 2026/2027 Admission
The general minimum UTME score required for admission into UNIOSUN is 160.
However, candidates who scored below 200 will not be considered for admission into the following programmes:
- Law
- Nursing
- Medicine
- Islamic Law
Applicants who selected any of these programmes but scored less than 200 are advised to change to another suitable programme for which they meet the admission requirements.
Age Requirement for UNIOSUN Admission
Candidates who will be younger than 16 years old as of 30 September 2026 are not eligible to apply for admission.
The university stated that this requirement aligns with the current national admission policy.
O’Level Requirements for UNIOSUN Admission
Candidates must possess at least five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and other programme-specific requirements, obtained in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent examinations.
The results must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
For the following programmes, candidates must obtain the required five credits in one sitting:
- Medicine
- Nursing
- Law
- Islamic Law
Applicants should ensure they meet the O’Level requirements for their chosen course before applying.
Direct Entry Admission Requirements
Direct Entry candidates are eligible to participate in the screening exercise and must complete the online application through the university portal.

Transcript Submission for Direct Entry Candidates
All Direct Entry applicants, including candidates from UNIOSUN IJMB and JUPEB programmes, must:
- Obtain the Direct Entry form from JAMB.
- Participate in the UNIOSUN screening exercise.
- Forward their academic transcripts to the Registrar, Osun State University, on or before Friday, 4 September 2026.
Minimum Direct Entry Qualification
UNIOSUN may consider candidates with a minimum of Lower Credit qualification for Direct Entry admission.
However, applicants should verify the specific admission requirements for their preferred programme before applying.
How to Apply for UNIOSUN Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening
Interested candidates should complete their registration through the official UNIOSUN Post UTME application portal.

Payments should be made through the Remita Web PAY platform using:

- Interswitch-enabled ATM cards

O’Level Upload Requirement on JAMB CAPS
UNIOSUN has emphasized that admission for the 2026/2027 academic session will be processed through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
All applicants must upload their O’Level results to JAMB CAPS, as this is a mandatory requirement for admission consideration.
Candidates who fail to upload their results may not be considered for admission.
Awaiting Result Candidates
Candidates awaiting the release of their examination results are eligible to apply.
However, such candidates must upload and provide their results within one week of the official release.
The university also stated that any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission.
Consequences of Providing False Information
Applicants must provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
UNIOSUN warned that any candidate found to have submitted false information, forged documents, or incorrect records will face serious consequences, including:
- Prosecution by relevant law enforcement agencies
- Withdrawal of admission upon discovery
- Non-refundable application and screening fees

Medical Examination for Admitted Candidates
All successful candidates offered admission into UNIOSUN will be required to undergo a compulsory medical examination.
The medical screening will include drug testing as part of the admission process.
