Edo State University (EDSU), Uzairue, offers scholarships to promote academic excellence and support students with financial needs for the 2024/2025 academic session. These scholarships provide full and partial awards based on specific eligibility criteria.

Scholarship Categories

1. Undergraduate Full Scholarship Award (UFSA)

Reserved for candidates who selected EDSU as their first-choice institution in the UTME.
Awarded to five candidates with exceptional academic performance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum UTME score of 260.

2. Indigent Students Scholarship Award (ISSA)

Designed for indigent students from Edo State.
Covers tuition fees for all programmes except:
- Medicine
- Nursing
- Law
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Engineering
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum UTME score of 180.
- Must provide proof of indigency (e.g., community leader attestation or similar documentation).

General Eligibility Requirements

Must have participated in the 2024/2025 UTME.
Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English.
Meet the entry requirements for the chosen course of study.
Scholarships are unavailable for oversubscribed courses, such as Medicine, Nursing, Law, Medical Laboratory Science, and Engineering.
