David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences Begins 2026/2027 Admission Exercise; David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences has announced the commencement of the sale of admission forms for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The university is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates into its undergraduate programmes.

Admission Requirements

To qualify for admission into any of the programmes, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Candidates must choose the university as their first choice institution in JAMB.
• Applicants must possess at least five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO, or equivalent examinations.
• Candidates must have scored a minimum of 150 in the 2025 JAMB examination.

Candidates who did not initially select the university as their first choice but scored 150 and above in JAMB are eligible to apply after carrying out a change of institution on the JAMB portal.

IJMB Programme Opportunity

Candidates who did not sit for JAMB but wish to study at the university can apply for the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) programme.

The IJMB programme lasts for one year, after which successful candidates can gain direct admission into 200 Level without writing JAMB.

Application Deadline

The sale of admission forms will close by 4:00 pm on 30 August 2026.

Candidates are advised to complete their applications before the deadline.

Step-by-Step Application Process

Step 1: Obtain the Application Form

Candidates can obtain the undergraduate admission form using either of the following methods.

First Method: Buy Undergraduate Form Online

Visit either of the university websites and:

• Click on the “Admission” menu
• Select “Online Application”
• Click on “Buy Undergraduate Admission Form Online”

Second Method: Purchase Electronic PIN Through Bank

Applicants can also:

• Visit any bank branch nationwide
• Request payment for the David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences Undergraduate Application Form for the 2026/2027 session through the REMITA platform
• Pay the sum of ₦10,000 only
• Obtain a payment slip containing a unique electronic PIN

The generated PIN will be used for:

• Degree application
• IJMB application
• Inter-university transfer application

Step 2: Complete the Online Application

After obtaining the electronic PIN, candidates should:

• Visit either www.dufuhs.edu.ng or www.kdums.edu.ng
• Select “Online Application Undergraduate” from the Admissions menu on the homepage
• Enter their phone number and electronic PIN in the required fields
• Click “Login”
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the application form

Step 3: Print Application Form

Candidates are advised to print out the completed application form after submission.
