The Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Kogi State, has achieved a major academic milestone with the award of full accreditation for six Engineering programmes by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
The development was formally announced on 21 April 2026, following the receipt of an official accreditation letter dated 7 April 2026, underscoring the university’s compliance with national standards for engineering education.
Accreditation Details
The confirmation was presented by the Vice-Chancellor, Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu, at his office in Osara. The letter was signed by Abraham Chundusu, Director of Academic Accreditation, on behalf of the NUC Executive Secretary.
This approval signifies that the affected programmes have met the Commission’s benchmarks in curriculum quality, staffing, facilities, and academic delivery — the core criteria for full accreditation status in Nigeria’s university system.

The following programmes under CUSTECH’s Faculty of Engineering have now secured full NUC accreditation:
