Crescent University, Abeokuta (CUAB), has announced vacancies for several senior administrative, finance, audit, and technical positions within the institution. Qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the roles outlined below.
Available Positions
Category A
Deputy Bursar
Applicants must possess:
- Five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics
- A first degree in Accounting
- A Master’s degree in a related field
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA
- A minimum of seventeen (17) years’ relevant work experience
Deputy Director, Internal Audit
Applicants must:
- Be at least at the rank of Chief Internal Auditor
- Hold a degree in Accounting with a minimum of Second Class Lower
- Possess a Master’s degree in a related field
- Have four (4) years’ experience on the post of Chief Internal Auditor
- Be a member of ICAN, ANAN, ACCA, or related professional bodies
- Have at least eighteen (18) years of post-qualification experience, including eight (8) years after professional certification
Chief Accountant
Applicants must possess:
- Five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics
- A first degree in Accounting
- A Master’s degree in a related field
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA
- A minimum of fourteen (14) years’ relevant experience
- Proven familiarity with accounting software
- Demonstrable leadership ability
Principal Accountant
Applicants must have:
- Five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics
- A first degree or HND in Accounting or a related field
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA
- At least ten (10) years’ relevant experience
- Knowledge of accounting software and leadership competence
Senior Accountant
Applicants must possess:
- Five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics
- A first degree or HND in Accounting or a related field
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA
- A minimum of six (6) years’ relevant experience
- Familiarity with accounting software and leadership skills
Category B
Director, Works and Services Division
The Director heads the Works and Services Division and reports directly to the Vice-Chancellor. The position involves overall supervision and coordination of works and services activities across the university.
Applicants must:
- Hold an engineering qualification registrable with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE)
- Have a minimum of fifteen (15) years’ post-qualification experience
- Possess at least five (5) years’ experience in a university environment
Deputy Director, Works and Services Division
Applicants must:
- Hold an engineering qualification registrable with COREN and the Nigerian Society of Engineers
- Have a minimum of ten (10) years’ post-qualification experience
