COOU Post-UTME/DE Screening 2025/2026; Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) invites suitably qualified candidates to participate in the 2025/2026 Post-UTME/Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise.

Eligibility Criteria

- Candidates must have chosen COOU as their First Choice in the 2025 UTME.
- Minimum UTME score requirements:
- 150 for all other courses.
- 200 for Law, Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Candidates who did not choose COOU as their First Choice but scored the required marks may also apply after effecting a Change of Institution at an approved JAMB CBT Centre.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025.
Registration Details
- Processing Fee: ₦2,000 (Two Thousand Naira only), payable via the REMITA platform at any commercial bank.
- Registration Period: Monday, 11th August, 2025 – Thursday, 18th September, 2025.
Registration Procedure
- Visit portal.coou.edu.ng and click Prospective Students.
- Select Generate 2025/2026 PUTME Invoice.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and sign in to generate your invoice.
- Make payment at any bank or online using your ATM card.
- Return to the portal and re-enter your JAMB Registration Number.
- Click Apply Here and complete all required fields, including Date of Birth.
- Upload your O’Level result(s) to JAMB CAPS through an approved CBT Centre.
- Upload the following documents (maximum size: 50KB each):
- JAMB Result Slip
- O’Level 1
- O’Level 2 (if applicable)
- Review your entries carefully, tick the Confirmation Box, and click Submit.
- Print your Acknowledgement Slip.
Direct Entry Applicants
Direct Entry candidates who chose COOU as their First Choice should register via the Direct Entry Application option on the Prospective Student Panel. Applicants must possess OND, HND, First Degree, or A’Level in relevant disciplines.
