COOU Admission List for 2025/2026 Session Now Available on JAMB CAPS. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), formerly Anambra State University (ANSU), has released its provisional admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session.
All candidates who participated in the university’s admission screening exercise are hereby informed that they can now confirm their admission status via the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
How to Check COOU Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
- Visit JAMB e-Facility Portal
- Log in using your registered email address and password.
- Select “Check Admission Status.”
- Click on “Access My CAPS.”
- Tap on “Admission Status” to know if you have been offered admission.
- If admitted, your profile picture and a congratulatory message will be displayed.
- If not yet admitted, the system will respond with: “Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet.”
Accepting or Rejecting Admission on JAMB CAPS
- Candidates who have been offered admission should promptly Accept or Reject their offer.
- This can be done by sending ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
- Candidates have four (4) weeks to accept the admission offer. Failure to do so may lead to forfeiture of the offer.
- Those who no longer have access to their registered phone numbers must visit a JAMB-accredited CBT centre to carry out the process.
Important Notes for Admitted Candidates
- After accepting admission, proceed to print your JAMB Admission Letter. This document will be required during clearance and registration at the university.
- Candidates using mobile phones may encounter limitations when accessing CAPS. If you only see the welcome message without admission options, switch your browser to desktop mode.
- The Chrome browser is highly recommended—simply go to the options menu and select “Request Desktop Site” for full functionality.
📌 Reminder: Candidates must also ensure that their O’Level results have been uploaded to the JAMB portal, as this remains a critical requirement for admission confirmation.
