Camp Rising Sun Full Scholarship for International Students 2024 (Opens Nov 1st). Camp Rising Sun offers an exceptional opportunity for young people worldwide to develop leadership skills, learn from diverse peers, and build a global community.
This full-scholarship program, held in upstate New York, allows participants to explore leadership, identity, justice, and action over a transformative four-week session.

- December 15: Ecuador (for 2024 admission)
- January 5: Germany
- January 15: Most countries, including Barbados, China (Tianjin), The Netherlands, South Africa, USA (California, Colorado, New York/New Jersey), Zambia
- February 1: Finland, Palestine*, Poland, Greenland, USA (Minnesota)
- February 15: Denmark, Greece, Ecuador (for 2025 admission), Hungary, Israel*, Norway, Sweden
- February 16: Spain
- April 13: Japan
Award Overview:

Eligibility:
- Age: Applicants must be at least 15 years old at the start of the camp session and no older than 17 by the end of the session.
- Language: Applicants must be proficient in English.
- Availability: Applicants must be available for the entire four-week session.
- Legacy Campers: Children or grandchildren of previous alumni must apply as legacy campers.
Selection Process:
- Selection is based on application materials, including:
- An interview
- A reference from a non-family adult who knows the applicant well
- Admissions Decisions: Communicated in March
How to Apply:
- Part 1: Applications open on November 1st. Complete and submit the first part online.
- Information Session: Optional but encouraged.
- Part 2: Complete with short answer questions and a mini-project, using your LAJF Applicant ID.
- Reference: Submit one reference from an adult who knows you well.
- Interview: If selected, prepare to discuss your interests and passion for attending Camp Rising Sun.
- Decision: Admissions decisions are sent in March, followed by an information session on April 6th for admitted students.
- Confirmation: If admitted, confirm your place within a week.
