Admission Requirements
General Requirements
- Applicants for Ph.D, M.Phil, M.A, M.Ed, M.Sc, M.Eng, and LLM programmes must submit academic transcripts.
Ph.D/M.Phil Programmes
- An M.A, M.Ed, M.Sc, M.Eng, or LLM degree in relevant fields with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 (on a 5.00 scale) from BUK or another recognised university.
- For Radiology:
- An MBBS or equivalent degree, and an M.Sc in a relevant Radiology field.
- Full fellowship of NPMCN, WACP, WACS, or an equivalent foreign fellowship.
- Completion of Part 1 Fellowship from NPMCN, WACP, or WACS.
- Screening may be required.
M.A, M.Ed, M.Sc (Ed), MLS, M.Sc, M.Eng, and LLM Programmes
- A Good Second Class Lower Degree in a relevant field from BUK or another recognised university.
- Or, a Degree plus a Postgraduate Diploma at Credit level in a relevant field.
- For Engineering: Credits in English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at O-Level.
MBCL Programme
- A Good Second Class Degree in Law or Social Sciences.
- Or, a Degree in these fields plus a Postgraduate Diploma with Merit classification.
Postgraduate Diplomas
- General Diplomas: A Degree in any field or an HND with Lower Credit.
- Specialised Diplomas (e.g., PGDEM, PGDLA, PGDSE): A Degree or HND in relevant fields like Geography, Environmental Sciences, or Agriculture.
- PGDAF: A Degree in Accounting or related fields, or an HND with Lower Credit.
- PGDTESL/PGDHS: A Third Class Degree or HND in relevant fields.
- Science and Engineering Diplomas: Degrees or HNDs in relevant Science or Engineering areas.
Masters in Public Health
- An MBBS or BDS degree, valid medical licence, and at least three years of post-qualification experience in medicine or health-related sectors.
- Entrance exam and interview required for shortlisted candidates.
Application Fee and Timeline
- Fee: ₦12,000 (Twelve Thousand Naira).
- Sale of Forms: 16 December 2024 to 30 May 2025.
