BUK 2024/2025 Remedial Science Admission

BUK 2024/2025 Remedial Science Admission; University, Kano (BUK) has commenced applications for its Remedial Science Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session. This programme is designed to prepare candidates for entry into degree programmes at the university.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

Possess five O-level credits, including Mathematics, English, and relevant science subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings.
Have at least three O-level credits, with the requirement to remedy the remaining subjects before gaining admission into a degree programme.

Absorption into Degree Programmes

Candidates who successfully complete the remedial programme will be admitted into a degree programme if they meet the following conditions:

PRACTICE PAST QUESTIONS HERE (JAMB, WAEC, NECO, POST-UTME)

Obtain five O-level credits, including Mathematics and English.
Achieve the BUK minimum UTME score.
Candidates who pass the remedial programme but fall short of the UTME requirement may still be considered if granted a JAMB waiver.

Validity of Results

Results from the remedial programme remain valid for two admission sessions.
Candidates who pass but do not meet the O-level or UTME requirements may still use the result for the next session.

Programme Details

The programme lasts one academic session, with no interruptions.
The 2024/2025 session begins in May 2025.
Candidates who successfully complete the programme may proceed to a degree programme in the 2025/2026 academic session.
