BSUTH Specialty Programmes Admission Form 2025/2026; The College of Nursing Specialty Programmes at Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), Makurdi Campus, is now accepting applications for admission into its 2025/2026 academic session. These specialised programmes are designed to train Registered Nurses for advanced roles in specific fields of healthcare.

Available Programmes:

  • Nephrology Nursing – 12 months
  • Ophthalmic Nursing – 12 months
  • Mental Health / Psychiatry Nursing – 18 months

Entry Requirements:

To be eligible for admission, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) certificate.
  • Hold a current practising licence.
  • Have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.
  • Credits must be from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB—maximum of two sittings.
  • A combination of WAEC and NECO results is accepted.
  • Have at least one year of post-qualification clinical experience.
  • Present a letter of approval for full-time study from your employer.

How to Apply:

Admission forms can be purchased directly from the Office of the Registrar, BSUTH Makurdi Campus. To obtain the form, applicants must present proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of ₦20,000.
