- Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal.
- Log in using your JAMB username and password.
- Scroll down and select Check Admission Status.
- Select Access My CAPS.
- Open Admission Status to see whether BOUESTI has offered you admission.

BOUESTI JAMB CAPS Admission Status Meanings
JAMB CAPS may display different responses when a BOUESTI candidate checks their admission status. Each response represents a particular stage of the admission process.
Admission Offered
An Admission Offered status means that JAMB has approved the candidate’s admission.
Candidates who receive this status can proceed to accept or reject the admission offer through the available JAMB acceptance options.
Admission in Progress
An Admission in Progress (AIP) status means that BOUESTI has reviewed the candidate’s application and recommended the candidate for admission.
The recommendation is still passing through the required approval process before the final JAMB review.
The admission decision is therefore still being processed.
Recommended
A Recommended status means that BOUESTI has considered the candidate for admission.
However, the application is still awaiting JAMB review to confirm that the required admission criteria have been met.
A final admission outcome has not yet been displayed.
Not Admitted
A Not Admitted status means that the candidate has not yet been selected or considered for admission.
This status may appear when the relevant admission list has not been released for the candidate at that stage or when the application remains under review.
Candidates who see this status can continue checking JAMB CAPS for updates.
Pending
A Pending status means that the candidate’s application is still under review and a final decision has not yet been made.
Candidates with this status can continue checking JAMB CAPS for a later update.
How to Accept or Reject BOUESTI Admission
Candidates whose JAMB CAPS status shows Admission Offered are expected to accept or reject the admission through the stated JAMB channels.
Acceptance or rejection can be completed through biometrics at an approved JAMB CBT centre.
An SMS option is also available.
Candidates using the SMS option can send ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number registered with JAMB.
The registered phone line should have up to ₦50 in the main airtime balance for the SMS process.
JAMB does not take the charge from borrowed airtime or Xtra Credit.
JAMB Admission Letter After Accepting BOUESTI Admission
Candidates who accept their BOUESTI admission offer can proceed to print their JAMB admission letter.
The admission letter comes after acceptance of the admission offer.
Candidates should keep the admission letter safely because it may be required during subsequent stages of the admission process.
Phone Users May Need Desktop Mode to Access JAMB CAPS
Some candidates checking JAMB CAPS on a mobile phone may see only the welcome message and may not see the Admission Status option.
Candidates experiencing this issue can switch their browser to desktop mode to display the complete CAPS page.
For candidates using Google Chrome, open the browser options and select Request desktop site.
After enabling desktop mode, the complete CAPS page should be displayed. Candidates can then select Admission Status to check their current admission position.
