BOSU Post-UTME/DE Screening 2025/2026; Borno State University (BOSU) wishes to inform all candidates who chose the institution in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry (DE) that the online Post-UTME/DE screening exercise will run from Monday, 11th August 2025 to Sunday, 31st August 2025.
All eligible candidates are to complete their registration via the university’s Post-UTME/DE portal: https://putme.bosu.edu.ng.
Eligibility Criteria for BOSU Post-UTME/DE Screening
For UTME Candidates:
- Minimum UTME Score – Candidates must have scored not less than the approved cut-off mark for their chosen Faculty/Programme (see table on BOSU portal).
- Subject Combination – Must have sat for the relevant UTME subject combination for their programme.
- O’Level Requirements – Must have at least five (5) relevant credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Change of Course Option – Candidates who do not meet the minimum cut-off mark for their chosen programme should change to a qualifying programme on the JAMB portal before registering.
For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:
In addition to the minimum of five (5) O’Level relevant credits (including English and Mathematics), candidates must have:
- A minimum of 9 points or Merit in NCE
- At least Lower Credit in ND/HND
- Or a Second Class Lower in a Degree programme
Additional Requirement for All Candidates
- Ensure that O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). Candidates without uploaded results will not be considered for admission.
How to Apply for BOSU Post-UTME/DE Screening
- Login to the Portal
- Use your JAMB Registration Number as both username and password to confirm your pre-loaded JAMB details.
- Make Payment
- Generate a Remita code for payment and pay the sum of ₦2,000 using MasterCard, Visa, Verve card, or by printing the payment slip and paying at any bank branch.
- Return to the Portal
- After payment, log in again with your JAMB Registration Number.
- Complete the Online Form
- Fill in the required information accurately and submit your application.
