BASUG Post-UTME/DE 2024 cut-off mark and registration details: All prospective candidates who chose Sa’adu Zungur University (formerly Bauchi State University) as their first choice are informed that the online screening for 2024/2025 admission will commence on Thursday, 25th July 2024. Candidates who scored 140 points and above in the 2024 JAMB/UTME should visit the University’s website at http://www.basug.edu.ng for the screening procedure.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the screening/admission, candidates must:

a) UTME Score: Have obtained a minimum score of 140 points in the 2024 UTME.

b) O’ Level Requirements: Possess a minimum of five (5) relevant O’ level credits, including English and Mathematics, at not more than two (2) sittings.

c) UTME Subject Combination: Have sat for the relevant UTME subject combination in the 2024 UTME.

d) Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: In addition to the five (5) O’ Level credits, DE candidates must have scored a minimum of 7 points in IJMB or NCE, or at least lower credit in ND.

Application Process

  1. Visit the Screening Portal: Eligible candidates should create an account on the online screening portal at https://basug_screened.admissions.cloud/.
  2. Payment: Pay the screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) through the portal.
  3. Awaiting Results: Candidates awaiting their O’ level results should indicate “AWAITING RESULT (AR)” in the grades column on the form. Once released, these results must be made available for verification during physical screening.
