Admission Requirements
UTME Candidates
- Must have sat for the 2025/2026 UTME.
- Minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO).
- Candidates who did not choose Ave Maria University as their first choice can still apply but must change their institution to Ave Maria University on the JAMB portal upon admission offer.
- Candidates awaiting WAEC or NECO results are also eligible to apply.
Direct Entry Candidates
- Must have completed the JAMB Direct Entry form.
- Five (5) O’Level credits including English and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.
- Must possess a valid A-Level qualification, National Diploma (minimum of Lower Credit), or Cambridge A/Level result.
Post-UTME/DE Screening
Applicants must provide the following at the screening venue:
- Printed copy of the completed Admission Form
- UTME/DE Screening Assessment Form
- Character Assessment Form
- Applicant’s Confidential Report
- Guidance and Counselling Form
- WAEC/NECO results (if available)
Forms (2–5) must be downloaded from the university’s website, filled out, and submitted at the Post-UTME screening which will be held at the University’s Permanent Site.
Payment for Application Form
Candidates who download the admission form must pay the required application fee into the designated bank account. Payment proof must be presented during screening.
