AUN 2024 Post-UTME/DE Form; The American University of Nigeria invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for its 2024/2025 undergraduate admission. Interested candidates should complete and submit the online application form. Details regarding eligibility and the application process are provided below:

Undergraduate Requirements

AUN Post-UTME/DE 2024: Cut-off Mark, Eligibility, and Registration Details

  • JAMB Score: Minimum score of 160 or JAMB’s yearly official cut-off score.
  • SSCE Requirements: Five (5) credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings, or an equivalent from other countries’ standardized tests. Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis.
  • Engineering and Technology: Credit level passes in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, and Chemistry in the Senior Secondary School final year examination or GCE ‘O’ Level. Further Mathematics and Technical Drawing at credit levels are advantageous.
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB Honors): A credit in Literature-in-English is required.

Important Notes:

  • Meeting these requirements does not guarantee admission; applications are scrutinized, and those with the highest scores and qualifications are accepted.
  • Assessment factors include JAMB scores, WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, IGCSE scores, and SS1-SS3 transcripts.

Application Process

Documents Required:

  • Completed Application Form
  • SSCE results (WAEC/NECO/GCE/IGCSE/NABTEB)
  • High school transcripts (SS1-3)
  • Letter of Recommendation (from high school principal)
  • JAMB result (minimum score of 160)
  • ID card (International passport/Driver’s license/National ID card)
  • Personal Essay (Why you chose AUN and your future ambitions)

For Direct Entry/Transfer Candidates:

  • Completed Application Form
  • Diploma result (NCE/OND/HND) or ‘A’ Level
  • Official Transcripts
  • SSCE results (WAEC/NECO/GCE/IGCSE/NABTEB)
  • Direct entry JAMB or IJMB
  • Recommendation letter

For International Students:

  • End of High/Secondary School External Examination Grades (IGCSE, SSCE, or equivalent)
  • High/Secondary School transcripts for the last three years
  • Undergraduate transcripts and course description (for transfer applicants)
  • Letter of Recommendation/Attestation from the high/secondary school attended
  • Personal Statement (Essay)
  • Photocopy of ID card, valid passport & appropriate visa
  • Four personal passport photographs

Travel & Residency Requirements:

  • Valid national passport and visa for the study period in Nigeria
  • Presentation and surrender of travel documents to the Office of the VP Campus Life & Dean, Student Affairs at AUN upon arrival
  • Evidence of automatic renewal of expiring documents (if applicable)
  • On-campus accommodation is encouraged; booking with the Bursar at bursar@aun.edu.ng

Admission Processing

  • The AUN Admission Committee will review only completed applications.
  • Retain original academic documents for future use; AUN does not return submitted documents.
  • Keep copies of travel documents before surrendering them to AUN upon enrollment.
