Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years old by October of the admission year.
- Completion of secondary school education with a minimum of five O’Level credit passes at one or two sittings in West African SSCE/GCE/NECO or equivalent. These credits must include English Language, Mathematics, and at least three other subjects relevant to the proposed course of study.
- Candidates awaiting results for SSCE/GCE are eligible to apply.
- Augustine University must be chosen as the FIRST CHOICE in the UTME Examinations of the admission year. Alternatively, candidates who did not choose AUI as their first choice can still APPLY, with the understanding that they will need to process a change of institution on the JAMB portal upon receiving provisional admission in AUI.
- Direct entry candidates are also encouraged to apply.
Admission Requirements:
- All admissions into the University are conducted through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
- For admission into 100 level (UTME), candidates must obtain a minimum of five (5) Ordinary level credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, not exceeding two sittings. Additionally, candidates must pass the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) as specified by JAMB in relevant subjects and satisfy the University requirements in a Post-UTME screening exercise for the course of study.
- For admission to 200 level (Direct Entry), candidates should, in addition to five (5) Ordinary level credit passes stated above, obtain at least two (2) A’ level (or its equivalent) full passes in relevant subjects, or possess NCE, or a good first degree in another field.

- Payment: Pay a sum of N5,500 through E-transact or use the online payment option on the application portal.
- Application Process: Visit the undergraduate admission page (https://augustineuniversity.edu.ng/application/), locate the ‘New Application’ section, and fill in all the required fields. Click the “Sign Up” button when done.
- Confirmation: Check your email address for a confirmation message containing your application number, which will be needed to log into your Personal AUI Account (please check your spam box if it’s not in your inbox).
