Auchi Polytechnic Opens 2025 Post-HND and Professional Diploma Applications in Building and Urban Planning. Auchi Polytechnic, one of Nigeria’s leading technical institutions, has announced the commencement of applications for its 2025/2026 Post-HND/Professional Diploma programmes in Building Technology and Urban & Regional Planning.
These programmes are targeted at Higher National Diploma (HND) holders looking to deepen their technical expertise and advance in their careers.
Specialised Programmes for Industry Advancement
As demand grows for technically skilled professionals across Nigeria’s urban development and construction sectors, the Post-HND diplomas at Auchi Polytechnic offer a route for professionals to refine their knowledge and elevate their credentials. The programmes are full-time and span 18 calendar months, providing both theoretical depth and practical grounding.
Available Programmes
1. Professional Diploma in Building Technology
This course is tailored for HND graduates in Building Technology from NBTE-recognized institutions.
Admission Requirements:
- HND in Building Technology with a minimum of Lower Credit
- NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter
Duration: Minimum of 3 semesters (full-time)
2. Professional Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning
Designed for professionals aiming to expand their capabilities in planning, policy, and development.
Admission Requirements:
- Upper Credit in HND Urban & Regional Planning from Auchi Polytechnic or any other NBTE-accredited institution
OR - Lower Credit, with 2 years of post-HND experience and NYSC certificate
OR - Pass grade, with 3 years of post-HND experience and NYSC certificate
- Candidates must also meet standard O’Level subject requirements
How to Apply
Interested candidates should follow the steps below:
- Visit the official Auchi Polytechnic application portal
- Click on:
“Apply for 2025/2026 Auchi Polytechnic Post-HND/Professional Diploma” - Carefully fill in your personal and academic details
- Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) on the portal
- Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000 to:
Auchi Polytechnic TSA Account (No. 1000075) - Upload the following:
- Recent passport photograph
- Scanned academic credentials
- Print the following documents:
- Acknowledgment slip
- Two copies of the completed application form
- Application summary sheet
Document Submission:
Place the following in a single file for submission:
- Two photocopies each of your academic credentials
- NYSC certificate or exemption letter
- Birth certificate
- Two recent passport photographs
- Proof of payment via Remita
Submit according to the instructions on the portal.
